DownloadA review (French) of several decades of research in and around the Taï National Park in Southwest Côte d'Ivoire, the largest protected area in West Africa.
The principle aim of this study was to contribute to the conservation of the Taï National Park through the integration and disclosure of all available scientific information. A number of subjects for future research, divided into two different themes, are proposed: further identification and conservation of the area's biological diversity; protection of this biological diversity by public involvement activities in the peripheral area.
The book is divided in two sections. The first part provides a synthesis of the results of various research activities, crucial gaps in knowledge, and suggestions for future research. The second part encompasses a bibliography containing over 2,000 titles, which can be further retrieved in a Cardbox Library file on the accompanying computer diskette.
