Roderick Zagt



Roderick coordinates and gives support to programmes and projects on sustainable land use and inclusive governance, with special focus on those in Viet Nam and Indonesia.

Roderick is a forest ecologist. His professional interest is in tropical forest and landscape management in a broad sense, and in particular how policies and practices impact upon biodiversity, forests and livelihoods. His experience includes forest certification, conservation, community forestry, forest product trade issues, and the role of forests as part of inclusive landscapes.

Roderick joined Tropenbos International in 2003. Prior to that he was programme director in the Tropenbos Guyana Programme when he undertook his doctorate.
