Mini symposium for the occasion of the visit by Mr. Wahjudi Wardojo

Mr. Wahjudi Wardojo is the Director General of the Indonesian Forest Research and Development Agency (FORDA), TBI's partner in Indonesia. Together with FORDA, TBI implements a programme of research, capacity building and institutional strengthening of the forest sector in East Kalimantan, since 1987. Pak Wahyudi served as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Forestry before being appointed as FORDA's DG.

On the occasion of his informal visit to the Netherlands, TBI organised a half-day meeting on Monday July 3rd 2006 in Wageningen. Presentations were given about research within our programme in Indonesia, as well as about other related activities like the Central Kalimantan Peatland Project of Wetlands International and the Heart of Borneo initiative.
