TBI is governed by a General Board which has
delegated a number of tasks and responsibilities to an
Executive Board. The staff at the
respective offices takes care of the day-to-day management of
the programme (Wageningen, Colombia,
Ghana, Indonesia, Suriname
and Vietnam). The scientific level of the programme
is guarded by a Programme Advisory Committee (PAC).

The General Board
of Tropenbos International consists of maximal 17 members which are
selected on their personal title taking into account their specific
expertise on tropical forests, policy or business. The current members

Programme
Advisory Committee (PAC)
The PAC advises the board on the approval of work plans
and projects, with emphasis on the scientific level of the programmes.
The PAC also advises the local Steering Committees in the site countries
on the scientific content of the programme, upon the request of the
Steering Committee or General Board.
