New and relevant knowledge from our research projects became available
on various topics of the forestry sector in Vietnam. This Conference
is part of the efforts of TBI-Vietnam to disseminate the outputs to our
direct partners and interested organizations so that new knowledge
can be used for better decision making and forest management in
Vietnam.

Session III
Presentations
of session III
|
| A poster
session during the 1st day of the Conference
provided participants with the possibility to present their
more scientific results to a wider audience. This session also
proved to be a good opportunity for participants to share information
and discuss on their research projects and activities. |
| For the discussions,
we asked the participants to focus on two main questions. The
first question was 'What are the critical issues of the sector
with respect to the theme of this session?' Based on the outcomes,
we asked the participants to discuss for each identified issue,
the specific information and capacity needs? The discussions
were lively and a wide range of issues were mentioned by the
participants. |
